David Hescheles is a managing director and national sales manager for Hartford Funds. He is responsible for leading field sales execution in the retail and institutional channels.

David joined the organization in 2015. Prior to joining the company, he was the head of intermediary sales for New York Life Mainstay Investments and oversaw the wire/regional, independent, RIA, bank, and DCIO channels.

David has more than 20 years of experience, starting in the investment business as a listed equity trader and a bond trader. David is a registered representative of Hartford Funds Distributors and is FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 registered. He earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation through IMCA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

David attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics. He currently lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with his wife and three children.
