Hartford Funds Rings NYSE Closing Bell

April 17, 2019
Wayne, PA

Hartford Funds today will ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate the growth of the Hartford Multifactor Developed Markets (ex-US) ETF (RODM).

RODM is designed to provide equity exposure to developed markets (ex-US) with potentially less volatility over a complete market cycle than traditional capitalization-weighted indices.

With $2.0B AUM as of 04/15/19, RODM is Hartford Funds’ strongest selling multifactor ETF in 2019 todate.

RODM’s systematic, rules-based approach seeks to target up to 15% reduced volatility over a complete market cycle at an expense ratio of 0.29%.

RODM was in the 3rd percentile for performance in the Morningstar Foreign Large Blend category since the ETF’s inception on 2/25/15 through 3/31/19. Morningstar Percentile Rankings: RODM’s rankings are based on its NAV return and are based on total returns of all products within their peer groups. Since Inception: 3rd percentile (14 out of 634 products); 1 year: 8th percentile (53 out of 723 products); 3 year: 14th percentile (91 out of 683 products).

RODM also had an overall five-star rating in the Morningstar Foreign Large Blend Category based on risk adjusted returns (out of 644 products), as of 3/31/19*.

RODM Objective: Seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond to the total return performance of the Hartford Risk-Optimized Multifactor Developed Markets (ex-US) Index, which tracks the performance of companies located in major developed markets of Europe, Canada, and the Pacific Region.

ETF Shares are bought and sold at market price (not NAV) and are not individually redeemed from the Fund. Total returns are calculated using the daily 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time net asset value (NAV). Market price returns reflect the midpoint of the bid/ask spread as of the close of trading on the exchange where Fund shares are listed. Market price returns do not represent the returns an investor would receive if they traded shares at other times. Brokerage commissions apply and will reduce returns.

Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal.
