Adam G. Fraser, CFA, is an analyst in Global Multi-Asset Strategies and works closely with Mark Lynch on the Opportunistic Equity portfolio. He conducts top-down and bottom-up research to identify and deliver actionable investment ideas across sectors, regions, and themes, primarily within the global equity markets.
Prior to joining Wellington Management in 2014, Adam worked as a principal and chief financial officer at Transom Capital Group, a Los Angeles private equity firm focused on distressed investments in middle market companies (2008 – 2014). Before that, he was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Co. (2005 – 2007) and also served as an assistant cabinet secretary and campaign policy advisor for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Adam holds both a JD and a master’s degree in public policy from the University of California, Los Angeles (2005), as well as a BA in chemistry and philosophy from California State University, Los Angeles. He is also a certified public accountant (2014) (inactive). Additionally, Adam holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
