Marty Swanson

Chief Marketing Officer


 

Marty Swanson is the chief marketing officer for Hartford Funds. In this role, he oversees the planning, development, and execution of all digital marketing, content creation, and brand management initiatives. Marty also leads Hartford Funds’ National Accounts team, who is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our distribution partners and key clients.

Previously, Marty served in a variety of senior marketing roles within The Hartford, running marketing and internal sales for the firm’s corporate, government, and non-profit retirement plan businesses. He also oversaw marketing for the firm’s variable annuity business.

Prior to joining The Hartford in 1998, he served in various senior roles at PaineWebber, Inc. including product marketing, sales management, and strategic planning.

Marty is a graduate of Lafayette College and the SIA Management Program at the Wharton School of Business.
