Wayne, Penn. – March 16, 2026

Hartford Funds, a leading asset manager, has promoted Lori Murphy to Head of Strategic Relationship Management (SRM), effective April 1, 2026. In this role, Murphy will lead the firm’s national broker dealer account management and institutional sales teams, responsible for deepening client relationships and driving growth across Hartford Funds’ strategic partners. She will report to Jon Mackay, Head of Distribution at Hartford Funds.

“Lori is highly regarded by her clients and has a proven track record of building meaningful, long-term partnerships,” said Mackay. “Her collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to client service positions her well to continue strengthening our strategic relationships and supporting Hartford Funds’ long-term growth objectives.”

Since 2014, Murphy has served as Vice President, Strategic Relationship Management at Hartford Funds, partnering closely with her clients’ research departments and senior leadership teams to coordinate sales efforts and product availability, and to deepen firm-wide relationships.

“I’m excited to step into this role and continue to shape how we engage with clients, leveraging the strength and breadth of our investment platform to deliver thoughtful, strategic solutions that are designed to meet investors’ evolving needs,” said Murphy.

Prior to joining Hartford Funds, Murphy was a Director and Relationship Manager at Lord Abbett. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from SUNY Geneseo.
