Background

David M. Khtikian, CFA, is a member of the Health Care Team. David conducts fundamental analysis and research on small/mid-cap health care service companies including hospitals, managed care, health care information technology, distribution, and post-acute care.

Prior to joining Wellington Management in 2013, David worked as an equity analyst on the small-cap growth team at The Boston Company Asset Management (2008 – 2013), where he was focused on small/mid-cap health care service companies as well as consumer staples and restaurants. Prior to The Boston Company, he worked as a research associate at JPMorgan (2005 – 2008), as a sales consultant at Bloomberg LP (2001 – 2003), and as a consultant at Navigant Consulting (1999 – 2001).

David earned his MBA from the University of Virginia (Darden, 2005) and his BS in mechanical engineering, magna cum laude, from Tufts University (1998). Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
