Background

Jim Glendon, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager for Hartford Funds. He is responsible for the investment strategy and portfolio construction of the firm’s Multi-Asset strategies including Hartford Funds’ 529 College Savings Plans and Model Portfolios.

Jim joined the company in 2016. He has over 12 years of investment experience, most recently as a Senior Analyst for FedEx Corporation’s employee pension plan. In this role, Jim was responsible for asset allocation, manager oversight, and portfolio construction. His previously experience includes loan trading at Vining Sparks and institutional client relations at SouthernSun Asset Management, an equity investment management firm. In addition, Jim served on active duty in the United States Army.

Jim is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Temple University and a Master of Science in Finance from Vanderbilt University.
