Background

Mark S. Goodman, CFA is an equity research analyst on the Opportunistic Value Team. Mark conducts fundamental analysis on global equity investments, focusing on the consumer discretionary and staples sectors. His research supports the investment decision making for a range of portfolios managed for clients of the firm. He works in our Radnor office.

Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Mark was a senior analyst at Chartwell Investment Partners (2007 - 2019), where he was a small ­and mid-cap value analyst covering primarily consumer, technology, and health care sectors. Before that, he worked as an equity analyst at Endowment Capital Group (2003 - 2007). He also served as an analyst with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (2000 -2003).

Mark earned his BS in systems engineering with a minor in economics from the University of Virginia (2000). Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation (2005) and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Philadelphia.
