Background

Ranjit Ramachandran, CFA is an equity research analyst in Global Equity Portfolio Management on the Growth Opportunities Team. Ranjit conducts fundamental analysis on small- and mid-cap global equity investments across various sectors, including information technology. His research supports the investment decision making for a range of portfolios managed for clients of the firm. He works in our Boston office.

Prior to joining Wellington Management in 2014, Ranjit worked as a senior research associate covering US semiconductors at Sanford Bernstein (2011 – 2014). Before that, he worked as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (2010 – 2011) and held a variety of positions with the Indian Administrative Service (1996 – 2008).

Ranjit earned his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) and his bachelor of technology (BT) in electronics and communications engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. He is fluent in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and Nepali.
