Background

Fernando Grisales, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager for the Hartford Schroders Emerging Markets Multi-Sector Bond Fund. He joined Schroders in 2012 as a Senior Portfolio Manager on the Emerging Market Debt Relative team.

Prior to joining Schroders, Fernando worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager - Sovereign at ICE Canyon, an alternative investment firm specializing in emerging market debt (2010 to 2012). From 2001 to 2010, he worked at AllianceBernstein in a variety of roles, including Vice President and Portfolio Manager (2007 to 2010). He also worked as an Emerging Market Trader responsible for all sovereign, corporate, and local markets trading.

Fernando earned a BS in Finance, International Business and Economics from New York University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
