Background

Adam H. Illfelder, CFA is an equity research analyst in Global Equity Portfolio Management on the Value Team. Adam conducts fundamental analysis on global equity investments, focusing on the health care, technology, and financials sectors. His research supports the investment decision making for a range of portfolios managed for clients of the firm. He works in Wellington’s Radnor office.

Prior to joining Wellington Management in 2005, Adam worked as an equity analyst on the Mid Cap Growth team at Putnam Investments (2003 – 2005). Before that, he worked in their Global Equity Research department (1997 – 2003).

Adam earned his MBA from Northwestern University (Kellogg, 2001) and his BS in economics from the University of Pennsylvania (1997). Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. He is fluent in Spanish.
