Background

Marc Piccuirro, CFA  is a fixed income portfolio manager on Wellington's Financial Reserves Management Team, responsible for managing diversified bond portfolios for clients with customized risk and return objectives, often influenced by liability considerations, currency issues, and regulatory limitations. He has worked extensively with Wellington's insurance clients on investment solutions and portfolio construction.

Prior to joining Wellington Management in 2007, Marc was a fixed income analyst at a large custodial bank, where he worked solely for the director of Portfolio Management and was responsible for research, trading, and reporting on the bank’s portfolio of government, MBS, ABS, and municipal bonds (2001 – 2007).

Marc earned his MS in investment management, with high honors, from Boston University (2006) and his BS in business administration from the University of Massachusetts (2001). He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
