Each year, 401(k) plan sponsors and fiduciaries are called upon to make decision about investments, service providers, plan design and compliance. At the end of each year, 401(k) plans should review the decisions that need to be made and, if any weren’t made earlier in the year, plan sponsors and fiduciaries should work with their financial professionals and providers to make those decisions.
