Overcoming the Bottleneck in Your Business

Time management problems?

We are all looking for that life-changing technique that’s going to help us take control of our time and really get things done. But we can’t control time. Regardless of what we do, time keeps marching on.

Since we all face the challenge of having more things to do than time to do them, how do some financial professionals stay busy all day without moving the needle, while others seem to make leaps and bounds without breaking a sweat?

The Pillar System is the solution

Brian Margolis, founder of Productivity Giant, discovered the answer to this question. While many financial professionals spend most of their time “doing” and “reacting" with minimal returns, others identify high-leverage, results-producing activities and focus on them at the expense of everything else. This is what Brian calls the Pillar System. This system boils your job down to one or two activities (pillars) that, when executed weekly, greatly increase the likelihood that you'll hit your goals. And the best part? You only need to do activities that you're already good at.

The benefits of using the Pillar System include:

  • Avoiding frequent changes in direction ("shiny object syndrome")
  • Accomplishing more by focusing on less
  • Focusing on activities that maximize your earnings potential
