Background

Liz is a portfolio manager on the Financial Reserves Management Team. She manages multisector and crossover portfolios for Wellington Management with customized risk and return objectives often related to accounting and regulatory constraints, such as insurance clients. She has worked extensively on all aspects of the core bond, municipal bond, and plus sector allocations across insurance clients since starting her career at Wellington. She is a founding member of the Insurance Women’s Investment Network (IWIN) and actively involved in the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. She is also the current chair of the Wellington Management Foundation Advisory Board.

Liz joined Wellington Management in 2001 as a client service analyst for the Insurance Team. In 2004, she joined the Fixed Income Team as a portfolio analyst supporting Municipal Bond and Crossover mandates. In 2007, she transitioned to the Core Bond Team, where she helped manage the investment-grade credit allocation and credit selection for insurance and long-duration portfolios.

Liz received her BA in economics, cum laude, from Dartmouth College (2001). Additionally, she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston, Inc.
